Introduction: Check Your Saudi Visa Status
Have you received a Saudi visa and want to know if it is real? This guide will show you simple steps to check if your visa is original or fake. Follow these easy instructions to make sure you are not cheated by anyone.
Why Should You Check Your Visa?
Before paying the full amount to an agent, always check your visa status. By doing this, you protect yourself and know that you have the real visa stamped on your passport. It is important to want certainty before you trust someone with your important documents.
Check if Your Visa is Real or Fake Using a QR Code
Sometimes, the agent may send you a soft copy (a digital version) of your visa. This version might come with a small code called a QR code. You can use a smartphone or a tablet to scan this code.
Here is what you do:
- Open the QR Scanner app on your smartphone.
- Point the camera at the QR code.
- Tap on the link that appears when your device recognizes the code.
- It will take you to government websites like visa.mofa.gov.sa and ksaVisa.sa.
- The Official website that opens will show you details about the visa.
If you see the correct information, such as your name and visa details, then your visa is real.

Check Your Saudi Visa Using Your Passport Number
After you send your documents to the Saudi Embassy, you can also check your visa status using your passport number. There are two major websites where you can perform this check:
First Method
- Visit the Website: ksavisa
- Click on the “Track Application” button at the top
- Enter your Application Number Or Visa Number
- Then Enter your Passport Number
- After you enter your details, click on the “View” button
If you see your details, your visa is Approved. If the website sends you to another page (like MOFA), it means your visa is still being processed.

Second Method
- Go the Official website: Mofa
- Switch to English if needed
- First box: Type your Visa Number
- Second box: Type your Passport Number
- Choose your Nationality.
- Enter the Image Code (a small code shown on the screen)
- Click the “Inquire” button
If a page opens with visa details, then your visa has been stamped (Approved).
If you see a message saying: There is no any information for the selected values,” the visa is not issued yet.

Conclusion: Visa Status
Always check your Saudi visa online before making the final payment. You can check by scanning the QR code or by entering your passport number on Listed Websites. If the system shows your details, your visa is Real and Approved. If not, it may still be processing.
This way, you can be sure that your visa is genuine and avoid any problems.
