The National Center for Wildlife and Maaden, a mining company, are working together to plant these trees. This project will take place in the Jubail Marine Protected Area.

Mangroves Trees

Mangrove trees are special because they help our Enviroment in many ways and also store carbon dioxide, which helps fight climate change. They also protect coastlines from erosion and create safe homes for fish and other sea animals.

Mohammed Qurban, the CEO of the National Center for Wildlife, said they care about protecting nature and planting more trees. Their goal is to help plant 10 billion trees across Saudi Arabia, including over 100 million mangroves by the coast.
