Education
Ali Al-Ahiedb earned a bachelor’s degree in Sharia from the College of Sharia at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, followed by a master’s and PhD in regulations from the university’s High Institute of the Judiciary. He also joined the Comparative Law program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, United States, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Career path
Al-Ahiedb joined the High Institute of the Judiciary as a Researcher (Grade Six) in 2004, then became a judge at the Board of Grievances in 2005. He led administrative circuits in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and Riyadh, before moving to the Technical Affairs Office at the Board of Grievances in 2011.
He supervised the Studies and Research Department at the Technical Affairs Office in 2014, then rose to Assistant to the Head, and Head of the Technical Affairs Office, by 2017. He joined the Administrative Court of Appeal in the Eastern Province in 2020, the same year he was named Assistant Secretary-General and then Secretary-General of the Administrative Judiciary Council.
