The Kingdom is improving water and sanitation services by starting 16 projects in the Qassim region. These projects will cost more than SR1.1 billion ($293 million) and will change the region’s water systems. They support the goals of Vision 2030 and the company’s growth plans.
Two Main Parts of the Projects
1. Sanitation Projects
- There are 12 projects for cleaning and safe waste removal.
- They will build over 645 km of pipes for sewage.
- New lifting stations will help move waste smoothly.
- The work costs more than SR870 million.
2. Water Projects
- There are 4 projects focused on water supply.
- They will lay down more than 579 km of water pipelines.
- They cost over SR247 million.
